For some strange reason Jimmy Swaggart's felt he had to comment during a live press conference on CNN in 1987. Swaggart had nothing to do with PTL, was not involved, but would often comment on PTL indirectly during his television program. One needs to understand Jim & Tammy Bakker, along with Jimmy Swaggart where the best know "televanglist" dring the 1980's and would come to the same downfall.

During one question Mr. Swaggart stated, "No, I have not had affairs." Mr. Swaggart would later repent of an unspecified "sin" known to others. Swaggart, to my knowledge, would never give this type of interview again.

Swaggart stated, in 1987, he does tell the truth and puts his ministry on the line and people deserve the truth. Swaggart comments on Jerry Falwell, Jerry Lee Lewis, the $265K paid to Jessica Hahn, Richard Dorch (Jim Bakker's right hand man). Mr. Swaggart one once again be in the company of a female in the early 90"s and would tell those at this charge :...it's none of your business." The questions posed is Mr. Swaggart fit to preach in the pulpit as outlined in the Bible?
