The wait is finally over! The long-anticipated Punggol Coast MRT Station on the North East MRT line has finally opened! It is the only station on the latest extension of the North East MRT line.
The extension was announced in 2013 to serve upcoming developments in Punggol North in Punggol, which is located northeast of Singapore.
Construction started in 2017 and was originally going to be completed in 2023. However, due to the pandemic, it was delayed.
It finally opens on the 10th of December 2024.
