Over in Malaysia, where the country is suffering some of its worst flooding in decades.
At least 10 people have been reported dead, while over 160,000 are estimated to have been displaced.
The death toll comes as local media reports that the floods in the worst-affected state, Kelantan, are starting to recede, but many are feared to still be stranded.
The government has allocated about 14 million U.S. dollars to manage relief centers.
Prime Minister Najib Razak who is facing public criticism for his slow response said extra funding would be made after visiting affected areas.
Meanwhile, Thailand also declared disaster zones in eight of its southern provinces after floods killed at least 13 people there since mid-December.
It′s been reported that more than 184,000 households were affected and nearly 8,000 people displaced in the country.
