After a chilly start, the sun warmed the ground up nicely, but not so much as to cause problematic thermals. Got up in the air easily and headed out towards Corsham/Gastard way. Before I got there my trip was interrupted with an engine running issue, causing me to turn and head back towards home via suitable landing options.
I suspect the carburettor formed ice inside due to the cold air, as I started the engine not long after where it started, spluttered a bit, then cleared and ran perfectly. I took it for several more flights that day with no running issues whatsoever.
