This is my first ever trip to Tokyo Disney and Japan in general! In this Travel Day vlog, I start out by sharing what's coming up in this series, what my route from London to Tokyo Disney is going to be and how I'm planning on structuring the vlogs with my thoughts, feelings, first impressions and first-timer tips throughout. It's then to packing and off to London Heathrow Terminal 3 short-stay parking!

I check-in to my Premium Economy evening flight with Japan Airlines at 'E' in Heathrow Terminal 3 Departures. I use fast-track security at Heathrow and pop into World Duty Free and WHSmith in the departures lounge. This is my first time flying with Japan Airlines, so I share my full review of the flight experience, the food, the airport lounge (British Airways Club Lounge Terminal 3), what the seat looks like, how comfortable the seat is, the cabin crew service, a quick look at the Economy and Business classes and also what documents you need to complete prior to landing in Japan for immigration and customs (as a UK passport holder).

Upon arriving at Haneda Terminal 3, I take a moment to share what it's like landing in Tokyo and the steps you go through to get through immigration, customs and into Arrivals. I then chat about my eSIM so I have data/internet during my trip, how I set my eSIM up and how I'm planning on navigating the metro system with a contactless Suica card and Google Maps.

Arriving at Maihama station and the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland, I choose to walk under the welcome sign to the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and check-in at the Marceline Saloon: a dedicated check-in and lounge for concierge guests. I then stop-by the lobby to take in the grandeur of the hotel and how it resembles some other Disney hotels.

Heading up to my Cinderella themed Concierge room, I give you a full and detailed room tour, including showing the complimentary goodies and trying out a Japaense toilet for the first time (lol). After a quick visit to the convenience store to buy a picnic dinner, I start walking through my experience so far, covering things like: the Japanese language barrier, a full review of my flight with Japan Airlines in Premium Economy, how to book Tokyo Disney hotels (room only in this vlog, I go into Vacation Packages in episode 3), what I got at check-in, how I felt using the metro, the cultural differences and more!
