The stigma among the industry that RFIs are bad may expose a general misuse of our RFIs and what they were originally intended (and should be used) for. This video covers the importance of RFIs, how to effectively write them, and how to answer them as the communication tool they were intended to be.
Who am I?
I am the owner and founder of Well Works.
www.livingwellworks.org
Well Works was built to equip individuals within the construction industry with the "essential skills" (i.e., soft skills/ people skills, trust, respect, motivation, and communication) necessary to build successful people, projects, and teams.
The Well Works Leadership Development Program (WWLDP) is the current main program offering and is built to equip front-line construction leaders with tools and information to efficiently and effectively lead our teams within our fast-paced, high-stress industry. This mobile-based, micro-learning program is specifically built using first-hand construction experience to work with our hectic schedules (not against them) by providing actionable resources relevant to everyday construction challenges without ever having to leave the job site. Since it is mobile, it is available nationwide.
Amy Powell is the current owner and founder of Well Works, which designs, builds, and conducts leadership mindset training for those within the construction industry. With over 18 years of construction experience, the majority of it as a Project Manager for a Commercial GC, she noticed the lack of training and information focused on the "boots on the ground" leadership to best lead our diverse construction teams. Tired of looking for the "right tools for the job," she decided to roll up her sleeves, collect her MEd in Adult Education, and build these tools herself to equip fellow industry members with "leadership mindsets" to help in their current or future roles.
