25 or 6 to 4 Drum Cover by Gary Schneider GS on Drums.

The cover I’m doing is 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago and the great Danny Seraphine.

I always had a tough time though figuring out how the drum pattern was being played on the verses, until I learned that Danny played an original pattern that was more straight forward and then dubbed over a second pattern with more intricacies.

At least that is how I have heard it was done. If you have heard differently let me know.

I would see Danny play it live and it looked like he went back and forth between the two patterns during the verses. So I am going to play both patterns in this cover and you’ll see in the different video boxes how it worked.
