One of the hardest and most challenging things I faced while rebuilding my business after COVID-19 was deciding what to focus on and what to let go of. As an entrepreneur, I’m naturally passionate about every aspect of my business, and it was difficult for me to prioritise what was truly essential to the success of my business.
However, after careful consideration and reflection, I realised that setting clear and high expectations was the key to achieving my goals. I had to let go of some things that were no longer serving me or my business, and focus on the things that were essential for growth and success.
Here are some of the things that helped me make this difficult decision:
1️⃣ I took a step back and evaluated my business objectively. I asked myself what was working and what wasn’t, and what was truly essential for growth and success.
2️⃣ I sought the advice and input of trusted mentors and advisors who could provide an outside perspective and help me see things more clearly.
3️⃣ I made a list of my priorities and focused on the things that would have the biggest impact on my business, such as increasing revenue, expanding my customer base, and improving operational efficiency.
4️⃣ I reminded myself that letting go of some things was necessary for growth and success, and that it was okay to make difficult decisions if it meant achieving my goals.
