Wow, I would've never known! But I guess I could have always looked it up, Lol! I like it when the universe through things my way like that, or is it the algorithm. Since they're always listening and watching. I enjoyed learning something new today about Joseph Philippe Lemercier Laroche and his family. Technically he wasn't the only "Black" passenger on the Titanic, his kids are also black too. I don't care how much cream they have in their coffee. Lol!

Who study the lived experiences of Black people with a focus on slavery, abolitionism, the Civil War, political violence, Black women’s history, and film.
Today’s presentation is about Joseph Philippe Lemercier Laroche and the Laroche Family. Joseph, originally from Haiti married a French woman by the name of Juliette Marie Louise Lafargue in 1908 and had two daughters. Juliette was expecting a boy when she boarded the Titanic with her family in April of 1912.
