"I am delighted to have a show again with Oeno Gallery, even though at this time it has to be virtual.
It is a collection of “flowerscapes” and figures. In my case, I feel that flowers are like figures and figures like flowers. Perhaps they are one and the same! I have been working on these paintings over the last two years. They are oil on canvas. I try to see past the flower image and/or figure image to bring another dimension to my vision. Through the application of the paint, I discover new horizons, new ways of telling the story. Each figure or flower, while revealing itself in an isolated way, nevertheless affirms our common vulnerability. I wish to thank everyone at Oeno Gallery for arranging this exhibition. Thanks to my assistant, Andras Csaszar, for his invaluable support."
