The adventure lovers travel Nafakhum throughout the year. Extreme adventures visit Nafakhum during rainy season. It's a real thrilling journey on that time!! That means June-August. But the best time for general people to visit Nafakhum is just after the rainy season to winter season, which is September-January.
For going Nafakhum, you have to first come Bandarban district. Then you have to use local transport or reserve chader gari for reaching Thanchi Bazar in Thanchi Upazila. After that you have to hire a boat to go Remakri bazar. Before Nafakhum you can visit Tindu, Boro pathar (Raja Pathar) and Remakri.
