One of the best ways to understand the concept of Cultural Maturity is to examine some of the new capacities that its changes make possible. I’ve proposed that effectively addressing any of the most important questions ahead for the species will require these new kinds of skills and abilities. This episode examines one of the most obviously consequential—learning not just to better tolerate complexity and uncertainty, but also to engage complexity and uncertainty creatively.
