On a recent spotting trip to New York, I chose to stay at the TWA Airport Hotel at New York JFK Airport. This video includes the footage I managed to get from the viewing terrace during my nights stay. Some shots filmed in the dark on the evening of March 14th and other the next morning on the 15th before I had to go to the terminal to catch my flight back to London Heathrow.

Not the best spotting video and also a huge reduction in the number of flights at JFK due to the Coronavirus and the closure of US Borders.

Its a very difficult time for airlines and staff right now with the uncertainty bought about by this virus so I would encourage everyone to please stay safe, look after each other and look out for your elderly family & friends. I wish all airline staff, pilots, cabin crew and the many ground staff the best of luck and hope for the best possible outcome for everyone.
