Global Village 2022 is a big and magnificent festival in Dubai, where more than 90 cultures from all over the world gather there with different cultures that display the handicrafts and diverse foods of different countries in a beautiful and spectacular space all displayed in light, color and music.
Global Village Dubai is held in Dubai every year from autumn to winter when the weather is cool for six months. In this huge and spectacular festival, the cultures and cuisines of countries are presented in different pavilions, and many countries are present here, such as Iran, America, China, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Oman, Afghanistan, Japan, Morocco, European countries, etc., all showing the culture and customs of their countries, as well as their various foods and handicrafts, in their own pavilions. It has a very exciting and attractive atmosphere. Global Village is very active and full of energy. There are many people who visit the pavilions and the enthusiasm of the managers and workers of the pavilions are very interesting.
It also has various parts, such as concerts, circus events, which are held very magnificently. While visiting the Global Village, I tried pure Syrian ice cream, which was made in a traditional and funny way, it has cream, milk and pistachios, and I had never tried it before, and I must say it was very delicious. I also saw the Bosnian pavilion, they have a very delicious Bosnian kebab, which is known as doli kebab in Iran, it is minced veal meat made with small pieces and grilled on the grill, with yogurt, vegetable sauce and onions inside a special bread. The taste of them is extremely delicious. The price of Bosnian kebab was 44 dirhams per person.
I also visited the Iran pavilion in this festival, which I think was one of the most beautiful pavilions in the Global Village and had different sections, Iranian handicrafts such as the authentic Iranian carpet, which is famous in the world, were beautifully presented here, as well as the authentic Iranian saffron, all kinds of Iranian foods such as sohan, baklava, various types of nuts such as pistachios, jewelry, and all the cultural features of the Iranian people were well displayed in this pavilion.
