CELEBRATING SHINE'S 3RD BIRTHDAY
As 2014 comes to a close, Shine's final show of the year it is with pride to announce our 3rd Birthday Line-up on Saturday 1st November at The Warehouse, Leeds!!
X-PRESS 2 (Rocky & Diesel) first rose to underground prominence through tracks 'Muzik Express' and 'London Xpress' while gaining plaudits on the club scene for regularly parading their multi-decked 12 turntable sets. DJ performances have taken them far and wide from an 80's Acid house groove in Ibiza onto the London stages of Shoom, The Ministry of Sound and around the globe.
Along with X-PRESS 2 although prominent house DJs and producers individually; London-based remixes Terry Farley and Pete Heller enjoyed their greatest notoriety working as a duo. They first surfaced in the early '90s as part of Andrew Weatherall's Boys Own collective, making their debut with a hugely popular remix of the Farm's 'Groovy Train'; hits for Espiritu (“Francisca”), Sunscreen ('Perfect Motion'), K Klass ('Don't Stop') and Secret Life ('As Always') followed. Farley and Heller also earned wide renown when their mix of M People's 'Open Your Heart' topped Billboard's club charts in 1995 and continue to be a pivotal driving force in House music today.
While headliners in their own right, the fantastic Justin Robertson and CJ Mackintosh who brought technical brilliance to Shine’s 2nd birthday making it a most memorable occasion to say the least make a return to The Warehouse supported by Miss Money Pennies very own, Jim Shaft Ryan!!
Shine regulars and Leeds legends in their own right, Marshall and Mark Alexander are also back joining celebrations alongside Shine's formidable residents Paul Murray, Mark Holliday and Garry Dabill performing in The Loft otherwise known as Room Two upstairs at The Warehouse.
Shine are really looking forward to joining you on the dance floor for what will be their final party of the year sharing the Birthday celebrations on an exciting night, set to be remembered for many years to come. 'We will See you there!!'
