If you are looking for improved print performance, I don't think anything will give you a bigger bang-for-your-buck improvement than switching out the stock Anycubic i3 Mega extruder for a BMG dual gear extruder (or one of the many clones). The i3 mega is a great beginner 3D printer but the main issue I have had with it is filament getting eaten up with the stock extruder especially when I'm printing something with lots of retracts. This dual gear extruder upgrade fixed the issues immediately and only takes 5 mins to install and is less than £20!
