Brief summary of my career I guess up until this point. Hated my first job, quit (laid off technically) for good , realized life was hard, found a job (fortunately) that I love. Some engineering jobs are boring, that's just what it is. And no it's not always easy to find work especially today but a good job with a good team can do wonders. Hopefully you guys get something from this maybe, cheers.
