Critical risks are risks that can lead to catastrophic and fatal incidents, and workplace physical and mental health exposures that can cause permanent disability to workers. This webinar discusses past and present workplace health and safety performance information that led to the adoption of the critical risk approach. It discusses lead practices associated with critical risk and control management covering both bowtie analysis and the International Council of Mining and Minerals critical control approach and
how these can be applied to improve the identification and management of controls needed to address such risks. It covers lessons learned from work health and safety investigations and how the investigation process can be adapted to better link learnings to risk management and reporting activities. The webinar will provide insights gained from working with companies that have been implementing this approach.
