The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have ramped up night patrols in Freetown and its surrounding beach areas to ensure public safety during the festive season.

This effort aligns with the SLP’s Strategic Development Goal, which prioritizes community safety and crime prevention, particularly during the holiday season.
By increasing police presence and mobility in key locations, the SLP seeks to boost public confidence and guarantee peaceful celebrations. Authorities have also called on citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior promptly. “Public cooperation plays a vital role in maintaining peace and security,” a police spokesperson emphasized.
