He says a significant milestone achieved was the completion of the Toliara project’s monazite PFS which doubles the overall NPV to $2 billion. He adds that the IRR of 79% on the required investment is sensational and makes it a neat addition for the project. Meanwhile, presidential elections in Madagascar in November saw the incumbent re-elected for a second term and has allowed Base to restart engagement to move the project forward.
