Hello hello, welcome back to another re-design.
This time I've done my take on Asakusa's God of Destruction; Benimaru Shinmon
(or Shinmon Benimaru since he's a proto-nationalist)
I decided to go with his First and Seventh Form of the Iai Chop.
The first one, Red Moon, was pretty basic but I'm not that proud of it due to not meeting some expectations. But nonetheless, I got close to what I wanted. I wanted it to sound like a burning metallic surface, so a few metal groans here and there and then some fire sound effects and we're done. I also added sword-like sound effects to emphasis on the 'Iai' part of the Martial Arts, which is taken from the word 'Iaido', a martial arts that involves sword-drawing techniques.
Now we move on to the Seventh Form, Sun Wheel. Sun Wheel was a little bit easier since I've already had a pretty good grasp on what I wanted to do with it. First of all, Sun WHEEL, I added a kind of gear turning sound effect to make it sound like a wheel, and then some fire impacts here and there and a bit of 🅱️ A S S will do the trick.
I didn't put much thought into these since I just wanted to have some fun with Fire sound effects :-)
