Senior leaders from the maritime forces in the Black Sea region met in Naples, Italy, for the first Black Sea Maritime Security Symposium hosted by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe Feb. 25-26, 2016. The intent of the symposium is to enhance regional cooperation by sharing insights and developing recommendations to address mutual maritime security concerns.
