As Italy emerges from its first wave, families are fighting to recover the remains of loved ones who died.
During the height of the chaos, with hospitals overrun and the death toll mounting, hundreds were buried in what were effectively mass graves without their relatives knowing.
But now, families in the Lombardy region, where more than 17,000 people died, are demanding a proper goodbye - but authorities warn the process could take years.
