One of the highlights of studying Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester (UoM) is having the opportunity in 2nd year to take part in the Flight Test Course (FTC) which involves students undertaking a five-day residential trip at Snowdonia Aerospace Centre in Wales to do a variety of practical, hands-on based activities primarily concentrated on Fixed-Wing Aircraft, Rocketry, and Rotary Wing.
I would like to thank all the academic staff and GTAs, who not only guided and helped us but literally made the whole experience enjoyable. A massive shoutout to the Aerospace Cohort who made the trip an unforgettable experience :)
