A dispute emerged over the purported 'beautification' of Yakub Memon's burial in the 1993 Mumbai explosions, which had been revamped with a marble border and LED lights. The Maharashtra government ordered an investigation after Times Now brought the matter to light. The beautiful LED lighting around Yakub Memon's grave, in particular, was removed earlier today. Previously, the chairman of Juma Masjid acknowledged that the cemetery had been painted, but stated that no specific permission had been granted for Yakub's grave to do so. "They sympathize with and 'glorify those who are killers of innocent people be it, Aurangzeb or Yakub Memon'. This happens only in India", says S P Vaid Former DGP Jammu and Kashmir. Tune in for more such updates.
