ATTENTION, PLEASE READ:
In order for this method to work, you need to follow a few simple steps to set it all up:
First, delete the YouTube app for now (you can reinstall it in a bit). Next, go to Safari, type in the link you want to go to on YouTube and hit go. Then tap the three vertical dots in the top corner and switch it to "Desktop". Now you can put in the following code right after the YouTube link:
"?o=U&noapp=1" (No quotations)
I recommend that you bookmark that YouTube page now. You can reinstall your YouTube app, and from now on, when you click this link, it will take you to the web/desktop view version of the YouTube app instead of redirecting you to the YouTube app. This method may not work with all links, but channel links work perfectly. You can always bookmark the YouTube homepage by accessing it from the original bookmarked link. Hope this was helpful to some!
