Today we're doing a deep dive on my favourite gemstone Tourmaline!
Tourmaline is a unique stone because it comes it the widest range of colors, saturations and you can even find bi-colored and try colored specimens.
Because there are so many different colors, we will go through them along with some of the more popular options such as chrome (green), sunset (orange), rubellite (red), Paraiba (turquiose), seafoam (blue green) and even watermelon tourmaline! For each gemstone we will give approximate market prices for each color.
We will also cover the different optical phenomena's such as cat's eye and pleochroism.
If you are looking to create a custom jewel or to source a tourmaline, you can always send me an inquiry at info@fineandflux.com and I will be happy to help.
