This is "Stone Ground Seven" by Fred Sanford. SG7 was played by Santa Clara Vanguard in 1980, and (IMHO) one of the greatest DCI drum solos ever written. If you haven't heard the original SG7 by the Singers Unlimited, be sure to check it out.

The snare part is quite difficult, and I have attempted to do it justice here. I did fill in with the tenor part in one or two places where the snares were resting. I'm sure there are several places where I deviated from the original, but this was as close as I could get without the music. If one of the guys in the 1980 SCV line would like to post the real deal, I would love to see it.
