Matt wrote about this band over the years, starting back when he was with the Weekly Volcano. They kept in touch when he went to the Seattle Weekly and then the Tacoma News Tribune. Matt wrote a feature piece on Girl Trouble for the TNT when they were invited to play at Bumbershoot in 2023. GT played a set at his memorial because they loved him. This was so awesome to see.
