Lymphoedema is accumulation of protein rich fluid in the body. It commonly occurs in the limbs, in the upper limbs or the lower limbs the reason for this is may be a birth defect. Infectious cause like filariasis, where the lymph nodes are destroyed and it accumulates. It may follow some sort of injury where cancer of lymph nodes are removed or after radiation. So there are many reasons. Patient will notice gradual notice gradual and progressive swelling of lips.
