STORYLINE:
Finance ministers and central bankers from the world's seven top industrial powers reported progress on Saturday in intensifying efforts to combat terrorist financing, but conceded that sharp differences remain over how to improve foreign aid programmes.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill and Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan were the hosts for Saturday's discussions at the U.S. Treasury with their counterparts from the other Group of Seven industrial countries - Japan, France, Germany, Britain, Italy and Canada.
Following the tradition of previous G7 meetings finance ministers including the President of the World Bank, James Wolfensohn, posed for a family photo.
