We were blessed with the opportunity to boat in to the valley or Kalalau with our friend Orion. The majestic Napali coast is breathtaking beauty and truly one of my favorite places in the world. After playing in the waves and running on the empty beach of Kalalau we were filled with inspiration and this song started to come thru as we were boating away and saying our mahalos to this sacred place. I was filled with memories from hiking on the Napali trail years before and how it transformed my life. We chanted this song for days and finished writing the lyrics on the bluff over looking the waves at Ho'okipa, Maui which is where we are filmed singing in this video.
