Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that adults remain largely unvaccinated against preventable infectious illnesses. At a news conference convened by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID), experts in public health, infectious disease, oncology, and other medical specialties discussed the data and the health consequences for adults who skip vaccines. They collectively called on all adults and healthcare providers to improve adult vaccination rates.
