A new home in Newton, MA with Lutron battery operated shades. The shades are from the Triathlon series and were ordered and built to have a black architectural fascia. The result is the black window trim blends seamlessly with the black fascia cover.
Additionally the shades comes with a quick release drop down fascia for easy battery changes.
Each shade takes between 6-8 D cell batteries depending on length.
In this system design we opted to control the shades with a third party Control4 integration and a Control4 wall keypad.
