The TEAC ME-120 is an Electret Condenser Microphone. The mic comes with two elements - a cardioid and an omni capsule. There is a hi-pass filter labeled m for music, which is a flat response and V, for voice which engages 6dB per octave filter around 250Hz. A 10dB pad is tucked away inside the preamp. The mic also initially required a cylinder 9volt battery but current productions of this battery do not fit inside the body. The mic is running off 2 6volt cylinder batteries doubled up.
