How can red light help your eyes? I m often asked if red light is harmful to eyes. There is a lot of data on the benefits of red light used in ophthalmology. In fact it is approved in some countries for helping people see better and even macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye. Today I go through some of the data and how I use my cosmetic LED mask and eye protection. this should get everyone up to date about the concepts. LED aesthetic masks are not meant to treat medical conditions and should not be used in such a manner.
