By customizing settings like Bloom time, Brew temperature, and Flow rate, you can ensure every coffee is uniquely yours and suits the flavor preference of the particular bean you are using, be it floral, fruity, or earthy.
Features of the My Brew Preset:
- Bloom Time relates to hot water hitting the ground coffee and impacts the flavors and aromas hitting your cup. If your coffee is too bitter, you can shorten bloom time, and if it is too sour, you can increase it. We recommend 30-60 seconds.
- The Precision Brewer PID Temperature dial helps you to reach Gold Standard, by ensuring your coffee has a full-bodied taste. Too hot, it can develop an ashy taste, and too cold, it can develop a brassy taste.
- Flow Rate gives you more control over contact time and adjusts the water delivery speed. Decide your flow rate on your preferred taste and remember to go slow for a bolder cup, fast for lighter, and medium for somewhere in between.
