This PSA was commissioned by Second Harvest Food Bank, which serves northwest North Carolina. Last fall, a study identified this region of NC as "the hungriest place in America" based largely on the number of children who were "food insecure". Many people couldn't believe that a relatively prosperous area could be harboring so much nutritional need. We made this short video to illustrate a point. Tomi Melson is the narrator, and her story is true. She has been our friend for twenty years.
