Irish Air Corps performing a fly past over Spike Island on 11/07/18.
A ceremony wias held today (Wed) on Spike Island to mark 80 years since it was handed back from Britain along with forts in Cork Harbour.
It began 40 years of Irish military use at Fort Mitchel.
Todays ceremony included a full military and guard a 21 gun salute and a military flypass by the Irish air force.
