Sharing this Kerala special Two Healthy and Easy Breakfast Recipes. The Recipe includes Millet so that makes it Healthier.
KERALA IDIYAPPAM:

1cup Jowar flour
1cup Rice flour
2cups water
1/2tsp salt
1tsp ghee
Add salt and ghee to water and bring it to a boil. Once boiled, turn off the heat and add the flour into it and combine the flour and water till you no longer see any dry flour. Cover and keep it for 2-3 mins. Transfer it to a plate. Knead it well and cover it with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying. Grease the Idli tray, along with the sev mould. Add dough into the mould as much as possible. Now begin to press/ rotate the idiyappam maker and move it in concentric circles.
Steam it for 8-10 minutes and your Delicious Idiyappams are ready for serving 🙂
SEV UPMA:
=========
2 cups Sev
1-2spoon of oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1tsp chana dal
1tsp urad dal
Few curry leaves
3 dry red chillies
8-10 cashews
1/2 cup grated coconut
Separate the layers of the lidiyappam once cooled to get noodles. Heat a kadai. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal once hot. Roast the dal till it turns lightly brown. Add cashews and toast it a little. Now add red chillies and curry leaves. Add grated coconut and roast till you get slight aroma of the coconut. Add the cooked sev and mix well. Add salt and mix once again.
And your Healthy and Delicious Sev Upma is ready for serving 🙂
