Yoji Shirasawa is an Aerospace project research associate (Postdoctorate fellow) in Lunar and Planetary Exploration Program Group at The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). His interests include solar sail membrane dynamics, spacecraft attitude dymanics and control and spacecraft system engineering. He is part of IKAROS team and shares the mission overview, technical details and personal experience in solar sailing.
