AeroMINE (Motionless INtegrated Extraction) patent-protected wind energy harvesters offer safe, distributed electricity generation with no external moving parts. This enables integration on existing and new buildings. They have greatly increased swept-area as compared to micro-wind turbines, leading to proportional increases in energy production. Furthermore, unlike all wind energy devices with external moving parts, AeroMINEs do not create significant aero-acoustic noise, greatly reduce risks to people and wildlife, and do not create visual flicker.
