How to get there
*Walking
The Darwin Waterfront Precinct is an easy five-minute stroll from Darwin city.
Wander over Darwin’s oldest road (Hughes Avenue) onto a sky bridge through the shady canopy of raintrees. Artefacts, symbolic construction materials and interpretative signs along the walkway explain Darwin’s history. A glass-walled observation lift and ramps makes it accessible for everyone.
*Public transport
Route 14 of the Darwin public bus network services the Darwin Waterfront Precinct.
*Drive
Parking is available seven days a week
If you need parking for large coaches, buses or motor homes, please contact the Darwin Waterfront Corporation (phone 08 8999 5155) in advance so we can help with your arrangements.
*Free Waterfront shuttle bus
A free 12-seater shuttle bus operates around the Darwin Waterfront Precinct every day between 11:30am and 2pm and then 4pm and 9pm.
