Ustadh Sayful Alam was brought up in Cambridge before studying at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, where he memorised the Qur’an. He went onto study the traditional Islamic sciences for a further 7 years.
He completed Hadith studies graduating with a BA in Islamic Studies and Arabic Literature. He then went on to study at the Cambridge Muslim College for a diploma in Contextual Islamic Studies & Leadership.
Sayful Alam teaches Religious Studies and Ethics at a secondary school in Cambridge. He also founder of AlAnsaar, an Islamic organisation that facilitates Islamic events, charity events, conferences, lectures and activities in Cambridge.
He is also the principle of the Abu Bakr Mosque Boys Islamic Classes, a weekend madrasah in Cambridge. He is a tour guide and the leader of AlAnsaar Tours, a tour group taking people on Umrah.
