Paddy's plot slopes steeply down to a stream that floods in winter. Together with her husband Ben, they turned the bottom beds into a bog garden, built boardwalks over the wettest areas and chose plants that flourish in the damp. They've created flower-filled terraces on the slopes, as well as a rock garden for Paddy's collection of alpines.
