This laptop cooler by Llano is simply too loud for your MacBook Pro or Windows laptop which is going to be sitting right in front of you.
BTW. The noise is even louder when the cooler is tilting on it's stands.
If you are trying to concentrate on productivity work such as design or video editing, could you really concentrate on being creative with all that noise going on in front of you while you are working?
What about making music and you've got all that noise in the room, especially if you are recording acoustic instruments or vocals with a microphone in the room with you.
If you are on a gaming laptop and need to keep it cool during heavy gaming session, could you live with all that all that noise and can you imagine how loud it would be in the background while you are talking on gaming microphone? Imagine how annoying that would be for the rest of your team, listening to you talk with all that noise going on.
Don't forget, while you may think that its lowest setting may be OK, which I personally think was still too loud. No one is ever going to be using the lowest setting as this is not going to give you any effective cooling. For any fan cooling system to do be doing a good job at cooling, you are usually going to have to be using it anywhere between 75% to 100% for its best cooling. With 100% or on full being the best choice for maximum cooling.
