The 2021 Tulsa Oktoberfest's Biergarten stage was rockin' on Saturday night. Here's a bit of the Alex Meixner Band's take on Sweet Child O' Mine complete with a chorus of festgoers that runs into the Clarinet Polka. It all features Michael Fortunado on clarinet, Rory Hoffman on guitar, Alex Meixner on trumpet along with accordion, and has an Ed Klancnik drum solo near the end. Plus there was even a wedding proposal on the dance floor that evening!

Alex Meixner is one of the most dynamic accordionists on the scene today. Meixner has performed around the world, notably at American festivals like The National Folk Festival and Central Park SummerStage, as well as at uncountable community celebrations and accordion-centric events. He has worked with Jack Black on the Sundance-screened, Netflix movie "The Polka King", with Post Modern Jukebox, and as an on-screen spokesperson for Hormel Pepperoni.
