Pleasantly surprised. Very cool dashcam.

A couple of years ago I got T-boned by a woman who ran a red light. At the time I did not have a dashcam, but afterwards I went out and got one each car. The woman lied and said I ran a red light, but I had Witnesses and she ended up paying.

This is now my 4th or 5th dashcam over the last four years and definitely the best. It has GPS which is a huge Plus since it is able to set the time and date for you, and also display your miles per hour in real time which is awesome. However, if you speed a lot, I would recommend turning off the GPS because if you crash, your speed will be recorded in the video.

It also comes with two cameras, one that records the road while the other records the interior of the car. If you do not want to record the interior of the car, you can rotate the camera forward to record the road as well. Interestingly, the camera creates two files, one for each camera which is awesome. It does not do split screen which would have ended up decreasing clarity.

The camera that films the road records in 4k, and the camera that records the interior records in 1080p. You should use a fast micro SD card, but you don't have to worry about getting a large-capacity card since its records on a loop and will just start recording over when it is filled.

Like I said before, this is the best dashcam I have owned and I would definitely recommend spending a little extra on this instead of getting a cheapo camera that will break. I've had to break on me.
