The Chili Line was the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad's narrow gauge route from Antonito, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The 125-mile route operated from 1880 to 1941. In this video we track the old rail bed from Barranca, at the top of the Rio Grande Gorge, to Taos Junction which is now a forest road. Some of the footage is sped up to 2.5x to show more of the route in a shorter video.
