The bugs are back! So grab a weapon and join the Mobile Infantry! Through the years we have received various strategy games with the Starship Troopers setting, but FPS games are rare. Therefore I was so excited when I heard we are getting a proper Starship Troopers game from the creators of Squad.
The game drops you on a gigantic map with a squad of other soldiers who are controlled by various players. Through each mission you will be tasked with different objectives and each mission ends with a base holdout. This is where you get to build and mobilize a defensive outpost and then have to hold out against a horde of bugs. You can build walls, towers, turrets and bunkers. Its a lot of fun and brings back good memories from the awesome Paul Verhoeven movie.
The game feels great with smooth movement, great visuals and the bugs feel creepier than ever. At the moment there is only one map and a limited amount of bugs, but there will be many updates coming in the future. Therefore I will definitely come back to this game with an updated video when more meaningful content has been added. Would you like to know more?
